Shayne Henderson

Shayne Henderson will serve as the Co-Head Coach of 15 APEX this season, bringing high school coaching experience, club success, and active semi-professional playing experience to Arizona Legacy. As the Head Boys Volleyball Coach at Canyon View High School and a current player in the Volleyball League of America (VLA), Shayne brings a competitive mindset, strong leadership, and firsthand knowledge of today's game to every training session.

Prior to joining Arizona Legacy, Shayne coached with All In Volleyball Club, where he guided the club's 12s team to a medal finish at the Arizona Region Championships during the program's inaugural season. During Arizona Legacy's inaugural season, he led 15 CRIMSON to a bronze medal at the 2026 USA Volleyball Boys Junior National Championship, helping establish the club as one of the nation's fastest-rising boys volleyball programs.

As an active competitor in the VLA, Shayne continues to challenge himself against some of the top players in the country. That experience allows him to bring current offensive systems, training methods, and a modern perspective into the gym while helping athletes understand what it takes to compete at the next level.

Known for his energy and ability to build meaningful relationships with athletes, Shayne believes success is built through accountability, communication, and daily improvement. He is passionate about helping players develop confidence, master the fundamentals, and compete with purpose while creating an environment where every athlete is challenged to reach their full potential.

Shayne is excited to help lead 15 APEX this season and continue building Arizona Legacy's championship culture while preparing athletes for success both on and off the court.
