Travel Tournament School Excusal letters

To support our families, Arizona Legacy provides pre-formatted School Excusal Letters for each major tournament. These letters make it simple for parents to notify schools in advance of travel and competition days. While every school has its own attendance policies, these documents are designed to:

• Clearly identify the event name, dates, and location
• Provide context for the athletic and recruiting importance of participation
• Reference Arizona attendance law (A.R.S. § 15-901) for excused absences
• Include space for parent/guardian contact information and absence details (full day or early release)

Families should complete the letter, attach any additional school-required forms, and submit it early to teachers and administrators to ensure smooth communication between school and team obligations.
