Assistant Coach | 14 CRIMSON

Michelle Elders will serve as the Assistant Coach for 14 CRIMSON this season, bringing more than a decade of club and high school coaching experience and a passion for developing fundamentally sound athletes to Arizona Legacy. Throughout her coaching career, Michelle has built a reputation for teaching the game with patience, attention to detail, and an emphasis on volleyball IQ, confidence, and technical excellence.

Prior to joining Arizona Legacy, Michelle spent five seasons as a Co-Head Coach at AZ Storm Elite, where she helped guide the club's first 14-3s team to a USA Volleyball Boys Junior National Championship bid. She also coached national-level teams with Atomic Volleyball Club and previously coached with AZ Sky Volleyball Club, AZ Elite, and Phoenix Volleyball Club, helping athletes achieve success at the regional and national levels.

At the high school level, Michelle has served as Head Freshman Coach and Assistant Coach for JV and Varsityprograms at Cicero Preparatory Academy, Desert Mountain High School, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, and Cactus High School. Throughout her coaching career, her teams have earned state tournament appearances, regional championships, tournament titles, and national-level success.

A former setter, defensive specialist, and outside hitter, Michelle competed for Arizona Juniors, AZ Sky Volleyball Club, and Barry Goldwater High School. Her experience as a setter has shaped her coaching philosophy, and she enjoys helping athletes improve their decision-making, communication, and overall understanding of the game while building confidence in every position.

Michelle holds USAV IMPACT Certification and is a USA Volleyball Regional Official, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of the game from both coaching and officiating perspectives.

Outside of volleyball, Michelle studied Photography at the Art Institute and enjoys creating digital products, reading, and graphic design. She believes every athlete deserves a positive, competitive environment where they are challenged to grow, support their teammates, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the sport.

Michelle is excited to join Arizona Legacy and help 14 CRIMSON continue the club's tradition of developing skilled athletes, confident leaders, and exceptional teammates.
