Assistant Coach - 16 Iron

Savannah Marchese will serve as an Assistant Coach for 18 Crimson and 16 Iron at Arizona Legacy this season. A former dual-sport collegiate athlete in both indoor and beach volleyball, Savannah brings experience, energy, and a strong defensive mindset to the gym.

She’s been playing volleyball since she was 10 years old and competed at a high level throughout her club career, finishing her 18s season with a top 20 finish in the SoCal region—one of the most competitive areas in the country. Savannah continued her career at Ventura College, where she played both indoor and beach volleyball for two years and earned a starting role as libero with a career passing average of 2.7.

On the sand, Savannah placed top 10 in the CCCAA Beach Volleyball State Pairs Championship and finished runner-up in the SoCal Regional Pairs Tournament—proving her versatility across both formats of the game. She wrapped up her collegiate beach career at Ottawa University Arizona, graduating in 2024.

Savannah currently serves as the Head Coach at Arizona Charter Academy, where she leads the middle school program. At Arizona Legacy, she’ll focus on defensive development, ball control, and all-around skill training. Her calm presence, attention to detail, and ability to connect with athletes will make her a key part of the program’s growth this season.
