Arizona Legacy offers multiple training and competition pathways to support athlete development at every stage. Our 14U Spring Season runs from January through April and provides middle school athletes with a structured team environment focused on skill development, competition, and preparing for the next club cycle.
For high school athletes, we offer a wide range of training camps and clinics that are open to all athletes, regardless of school or club affiliation. These sessions are designed to provide a safe, competitive, and supportive environment for Arizona boys volleyball athletes to train, develop, and gain game speed reps leading into the school season.
The next opportunity to compete in Arizona Legacy club volleyball will be with our 2026 Summer Teams. This Summer Team Series will include 15s, 16s, and 17s teams that train from May through July and compete at the USA Boys Volleyball Junior National Championship here in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a local, no travel season designed to give athletes a national level competitive experience without the burden of travel.
Full club season tryouts for the 2026 to 2027 season are scheduled for August 2026. More information will be released as we get closer.
All camps and clinics are open to any athlete, regardless of school or club affiliation. Athletes formerly rostered or attached to a club in 2025/2026 season need a release from the former club to participate in spring or summer season.
Legacy Lab 14U Spring Season is a focused development season designed for boys in 5th to 8th grade who are serious about building their volleyball foundation before entering full club competition. It exists to bridge the gap between school ball, rec leagues, and elite club volleyball by providing structured training, competition, and coaching in a lower pressure, high growth environment.
We separate Legacy Lab from traditional club teams because development comes first. This season prioritizes skill building, volleyball IQ, confidence, and positional understanding over early specialization and win loss records. Athletes train and compete in a setting built to prepare them for long term success within Arizona Legacy and beyond.
Legacy Lab 14U is built to be inclusive and developmental. We do not plan to make cuts for the spring season and are prepared to offer one to three teams based on registration numbers and gym space so every athlete who wants to train and compete in the Legacy environment has a place to grow.
The spring season will include four local tournaments through the Arizona Region, running in conjunction with the Arizona Boys Volleyball regional schedule. While tournament dates have been announced, they are preliminary and subject to change as the region finalizes its calendar. These events provide meaningful competition while keeping development as the top priority.

As we move from club season into high school season, these camps and clinics give Arizona athletes a place to stay in the gym, get real reps, and stay ready. The goal is simple: work hard, touch the ball a lot, and keep getting better during a stretch of the year when gym time can be hard to find.
These sessions are built to be fast paced and high rep. Positional clinics give athletes more chances to train what they actually play in matches. Passing and defense clinics focus on serve receive, first contact, and defense, with limited game play at the end if time allows. Attacking and blocking clinics follow the same high rep, skill focused format.
Setting clinics focus on footwork, movement, and hands. We will not change tempo. Every athlete works at the tempo they are comfortable with and what their high school uses, so the training carries straight into their season.
High school tryout prep is a three hour session. The first two hours are high rep and detail driven. The last hour is ball control and live play so athletes can compete and apply what they worked on.
All camps and clinics are open to any athlete, no matter what club or school they come from. These sessions are about individual work and getting better. Nobody is judged, pushed aside, or treated differently. The goal is to give boys from all over the region a place to train, get reps, and walk into tryouts ready to play.

While many clubs are moving away from summer volleyball, Arizona Legacy is choosing to invest in it. We believe the summer months are one of the most important development windows for young athletes. This is where skills are sharpened, confidence is built, and players learn what it truly means to train with purpose. As boys volleyball continues to grow, the competition for opportunities is increasing, and too often development focused programs are being replaced by short term thinking. We are committed to doing it the right way.
For Summer 2026, Arizona Legacy is launching a three team summer series built to expand opportunities and give Valley athletes a clear path forward. This program will include:
15 Crimson
16 Crimson
17 Iron (pending interest)
These teams will train from May through July in a structured, high accountability environment designed to develop the whole athlete. Each team will receive one Elite U performance training session per week and two to three on court practices per week focused on skill development, systems training, and competitive growth.
The teams will compete in a Summer Scrimmage Event hosted by Arizona Legacy and the USA Boys Volleyball Junior National Championship, held July 8 through 11, 2026 at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix. This local, no travel model allows athletes to gain national level experience while staying grounded in consistent training.
