Arizona Legacy Summer 2026

The 14U team has a fixed schedule due to athletes not being able to drive them selves. While we have athletes continuing from spring this roster is not completed and needs additional athletes. Additional summer teams (15U–18U) will be formed after evaluations and tryouts based on athlete turnout and team needs.

Teams are formed based on evaluations, positional needs, roster balance, and overall turnout. Our goal is to create the most competitive and developmentally appropriate teams possible.

No. While we aim for no cuts for developmental opportunities like summer we may need to based on roster sizes and teams formed. Our goal is to place as many athletes as possible, placement is not guaranteed and depends on roster availability and team structure.

Evaluations (May 11 and 13) allow athletes to be assessed in a training environment. Tryouts/Placement Day (May 16) is when final team decisions are made.

It is strongly recommended but not required.

Teams train approximately twice per week, including one Elite U performance session.

Team practices are 2 hours. Elite U sessions are 1 hour. On days Elite U is included athletes are expected to bring light meal for in-between sessions to stay fueled as the session length is 3 hours total with EliteU and practice. 

We will consider preferences, but final placement is based on team formation, roster balance, facility availability, and coach availability. We will aim to place a 17s or 18s group in the morning session as those athletes typically drive them selves. 

We understand summer schedules vary. Occasional conflicts are expected, but athletes are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible. There are no discounts or refunds for missed practices or Elite U sessions

• Summer NIT - Arizona Athletic Grounds (June 5–7): The 14 Apex team will be entered. Participation for additional summer teams will depend on team level and age group, as Summer NIT is an invite-only event.
• Boys Junior Nationals - Phoenix Convention Center (July 8–11): Teams will compete in the Club Division.

Please note that tournament participation is subject to change. In the event a tournament reaches capacity or becomes unavailable, accounts will be adjusted accordingly based on event costs.

No. Evaluation and placement fees are non-refundable, including if an athlete is not placed due to roster limitations.

Yes. If your athlete competed with another club during the fall season, a signed player release form from that club is required before participating with Arizona Legacy, regardless of whether that season has concluded.

Elite U provides performance training focused on speed, strength, and injury prevention.

Once per week (6 total sessions). This is an introduction to our full performance system.

Yes. These sessions are included and have a total value of over $85 a session.

SportsRecruits is our official recruiting platform that allows athletes to build profiles, upload film, and communicate directly with college coaches.

Primarily athletes in the 15U–18U age range who are interested in playing at the next level.

Roster sizes typically range from 10–12 athletes.

Teams are led by Arizona Legacy coaching staff with experience at the high school, club, and collegiate levels.

To provide a structured, high-level training environment that develops athletes, introduces performance training, and offers competitive opportunities without the burden of travel.
