Assistant Coach | 17 APEX

Nestor Addah will serve as the Assistant Coach for 17 APEX this season, bringing international playing experience, elite collegiate success, and a passion for developing the next generation of athletes to Arizona Legacy. A member of the Ghana Men's National Team, Nestor has established himself as one of the most accomplished players on Arizona Legacy's coaching staff through his success at both the national and collegiate levels.

Nestor began his collegiate career at Ottawa University Arizona, where he earned NAIA All-American and All-Conference honors while helping lead the Spirit to multiple conference championships and NAIA National Championship appearances. He later transferred to Lawrence Technological University, where he became a two-time AVCA First Team All-American, the 2025 WHAC Player of the Year, and one of the nation's premier attackers. Throughout his collegiate career, Nestor helped his teams reach four consecutive NAIA National Championship appearances, competing against the best programs in the country.

In addition to his playing career, Nestor has coached at both the collegiate and club levels, including with United Volleyball Club in Michigan, where he coached the club's 16-1s team. 

As an elite outside hitter, he enjoys helping athletes develop the technical details of attacking, offensive decision-making, transition play, and the competitive mindset required to perform at the highest level. His international playing experience and coaching background allow him to connect with athletes while preparing them for the next stage of their volleyball journey.

Nestor believes success is built through discipline, consistency, and embracing challenges every day. His goal is to help athletes develop confidence, raise their volleyball IQ, and compete with purpose while creating an environment where they can reach their full potential both on and off the court.
