Assistant Coach | 13 APEX
Brittney Kraeer will serve as the Assistant Coach for 13 APEX this season, bringing nearly 20 years of coaching experience across youth, club, high school, collegiate, and USA Volleyball High Performance. Throughout her career, Brittney has built a reputation for developing fundamentally sound athletes while creating positive, competitive environments where players can grow both on and off the court.
Brittney currently serves as the Varsity Head Coach at Madison Meadows School, where she has helped establish one of the Valley's premier middle school boys volleyball programs. Under her leadership, Madison Meadows captured back-to-back Valley Athletic Conference Championships in 2024 and 2025 after runner-up finishes in 2022 and 2023. She also serves as an Assistant Coach for the Sunnyslope High School Boys Volleyball program.
Before returning to Arizona, Brittney coached at the collegiate level with Arizona Christian University, Southwestern Christian University, and St. Gregory's University. During her collegiate coaching career, she helped programs achieve record-setting seasons, including Arizona Christian's highest win total at the time and Southwestern Christian's first NCCAA National Tournament appearance.
One of Brittney's most distinguished accomplishments came through USA Volleyball High Performance, where she spent six seasons coaching many of the nation's top junior athletes. From 2014–2019, she served on multiple High Performance staffs across the country, helping identify and develop elite players within USA Volleyball's national pipeline.
During Arizona Legacy's inaugural season, Brittney served as an assistant coach for 14 APEX, helping lead the team to the No. 1 finish in the Arizona Region Spring Season, a bronze medal at the 2026 USA Volleyball Boys Junior National Championship, and a Top 3 national ranking in the 14U division.
As a player, Brittney was a four-year starting setter at Converse College, earning three Conference Player of the Week honors, Academic All-Conference recognition, and numerous leadership positions throughout her collegiate career. Her teams also set two NCAA records for team digs during the 2005–06 season, reflecting the defensive mindset and attention to detail she now brings to coaching.
Brittney believes great coaching is about more than teaching skills. She is passionate about helping athletes develop confidence, volleyball IQ, leadership, and a strong work ethic while creating an environment where every player feels challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
She is excited to help lead 13 APEX and continue Arizona Legacy's mission of developing confident athletes, exceptional teammates, and young men prepared for success on and off the court.
