Head Coach - 16 APEX

Ashlynn will lead Arizona Legacy’s 16 Apex team this season, bringing years of coaching experience, a competitive mindset, and a strong commitment to athlete development into the gym. Born and raised in Colorado, she played both club and high school varsity volleyball before continuing her education at Pikes Peak Community College and the Art Institute of Colorado, where she earned a degree in Design Management with a focus in graphic and web design.

Since moving to Arizona in 2014, Ashlynn has become a driving force in the local volleyball community. After stepping into coaching in 2017, she’s built a strong track record through private lessons, small group training, club coaching, and high school leadership. She currently serves as the Head Freshman Coach and Varsity Assistant at Sandra Day O’Connor High School, and previously coached at Pinnacle High School, where her teams earned top 3 finishes in Arizona’s 6A conference for three straight seasons including a 6A State Championships.

At the club level, Ashlynn has led teams at Revolution Volleyball Academy, Livewire Volleyball Club, and AZ Kings, qualifying three teams for Junior Nationals and earning top placements at major events including Big South, Far Westerns, Windy City, MLK, and Festival Fiesta.

Beyond coaching, Ashlynn is the co-owner of AZ Hype, the official practice facility of Arizona Legacy Volleyball Academy. She created AZ Hype to be an autonomous, athlete-focused training space built specifically to support volleyball players from all over the Valley. Her vision and leadership are a huge part of why Arizona Legacy is proud to call AZ Hype home.

Ashlynn is known for creating a structured, competitive, and encouraging training environment that athletes can thrive in. She brings high standards, deep knowledge, and a genuine love for the game into every session.
